The Kickboxing / Muay Thai classes offered at Boxfit Geelong are perfect for you then. Our classes are a combination of European kickboxing and Asian Muay Thai, incorporating kicks, knees, punches, elbows and grappling into a single style for self defence or recreational combat. This style of training involves the use of the entire body for a fun, enjoyable workout that utilises traditional techniques to apply self defence accurately and effectively.
Kickboxing classes are also of high cardio demand and focus on perfecting technique execution. As such, we can guarantee a brilliant cardio workout which will increase fitness levels rapidly and pave the way to weight loss and a better, toned physique. The expertise of our trainers will also ensure you are developing effective technique and understanding, rather than just ‘going through the motions’.
Our regular kickboxing / Muay Thai Classes also offer the bonus of being able to train alongside experienced fighters, going through the same drills, handwork and training as they do! The ability developed throughout our classes can be tested in events held by us every few months while also developing the skills necessary to become an accredited instructor. Whatever your goals are, Fight Club can meet these and is only up to yourself to come along and train.
Muay Thai Intermediate + Level
Muay Thai Intermediate classes are recommended for students who are looking to take their training to the next level. It is advised that beginners work up to these sessions by working hard, learning and improving technique purely because it is focused greatly on light sparring and advanced techniques. For this reason, students require a basic understanding of techniques before their application in a practical sense can occur.
The sparring is what really sets this class apart from the beginner and advanced levels.
Sparring and one-on-one private training is excellent for those looking to take their training to the next level. It really shapes our members and pushes them to greatly improve their fitness and technical skills. They also give members a chance to train for fights in amateur events which Boxfit Geelong participate in held every two months.
